About Rin
Rin Kobayashi is the Anime Apps Reviewer for kawaiianime.net. She installs every covered version herself and uses it the way a viewer does: browsing series, following daily episodes and weekly premieres, checking HD playback, and revisiting older catalogue titles on newer and older Android hardware.
Her background is in Japanese media and fan publishing, where she covered anime releases and streaming services for several years before joining this site. She writes in plain language, keeps a test log for every version, and updates a review whenever an update changes how an app behaves.
What Rin Tests
Clean installation from the package file, first launch behaviour, episode browsing and search speed, playback smoothness and stability, subtitle and audio behaviour, permissions and data practices, and performance and battery use on mid range and older phones.
How to Read Her Reviews
Each review separates verified facts, such as version, file size, and requirements, from hands on findings gathered on the test phones. The full method, including the phones used, is published on the How We Review page.
